Some information is automatically logged whenever you interact with our website by our web host, Placester. Placester automatically receives and records information on their server logs from your browser including your IP address, cookie information, browser information and the page you requested, or the parts of our website you accessed.

They may automatically collect usage information for our website, such as the number, time of day and frequency of visitors. Placester uses this information internally to understand usage trends and improve their service, but only discloses this data in aggregate form, that is, as a statistical measure, and not in a manner that would identify you personally.

WILL EQUITAS REALTY SHARE ANY OF MY PERSONAL INFORMATION?

The short answer is NO.

The complete answer is that Equitas Realty does not sell or share your personal information with any third parties. Your information is strictly confidential and is held internally within our company. Your personal information will only be shared with:

A.      Our website administrator (this also happens to be our Director of Operations), who is the initial recipient of all inquiries and registrations on our website; and

B.       The Equitas Realty agent you are working with, or who you request to work with, or who our Admin assigns to work with you.

Please note that any information collected by our website, personal or aggregate, may be subject to disclosure pursuant to law, such as the Freedom of Information Law (FOIL), or court order.

IS MY PERSONAL INFORMATION SECURE?

The Personal Information contained in your account is protected by a password you create for your privacy and security. You need to prevent unauthorized access to your account and Personal Information by selecting and protecting your password appropriately and limiting access to your computer and browser by signing off after you have finished accessing your account.

Equitas Realty endeavors to protect user information to ensure that user account information is kept private, however, we cannot guarantee the security of user account information. Unauthorized entry or use, hardware or software failure, and other factors, may compromise the security of user information at any time.

WHAT PERSONAL INFORMATION CAN I ACCESS?

You can access all the personal information you provide for the purpose of viewing, and in certain situations, updating and modifying that information.

DELETING YOUR ACCOUNT

Should you ever decide to delete your account, you may do so by emailing the request to admin@equitasny.com. If you terminate your account, your profile will be removed from our website, including your saved searches and contact information.

WHAT ARE MY CHOICES FOR CONTROLLING MY PERSONAL INFORMATION?

As stated previously, you can always opt not to disclose information to us, even though it may be needed to take advantage of certain features on our website.

You can add or update certain personal information from within your account, on pages such as those listed in the “What Personal Information Can I Access” section above. When you update information, however, we may retain a copy of the unrevised information in our records.

You may request deletion of your Equitas Realty account by sending an email to admin@equitasny.com. Please note that some information may remain in our records after deletion of your account, but your account will be, effectively, dead.

Equitas Realty may amend this Privacy Policy from time to time. Use of information we collect now is subject to the Privacy Policy in effect at the time such information is collected. If we make changes in the way we use Personal Information, we will notify you by sending you an email to the email address associated with your Equitas Realty account. Changes will also be posted to our website. Users are bound by any changes to the Privacy Policy the moment those changes are announced.
